The untold story: I'm not sure what impresses me more, the photograph or the moustache. This was likely taken of a man on the street in Kabul, before the Soviets invaded in 1979. A glimpse into this world of relative peace before decades of imperialistic chaos and violence can be found in my Grandad's photos of the country, of which he took many.
