North Africa (1978)
The untold story: Morocco was actually at war with Tunisia the year this photo was taken, an event not a problem for my Grandad, who took hundreds of stunning photos of the regions to the north of the country. Can you spot the military uniform in the photo? Whether this was a military guide that was with them for their trip remains to be seen.
His photos show a country often unchanged to today, albeit totally devoid of tourist. Possibly as there was, of all things, a war on.
