The Painter
Singapore (1985)
The untold story: Though possibly taken in Singapore, this film was a rare case in which my Grandad didn't label the location of his photograph.
I believe this was a sign that advertised Carlsberg in giant, hand painted letters, towering over the city. Note the bamboo scaffolding that is still used in these regions of Asia today.
