Waiting for the Train
England (1973)
The untold story: Much of Herbert Smith’s photography captures a stillness and nostalgia; people enjoying their lives, in seemingly mundane places, unaware of his lens.
He took hundreds, if not thousands of photos of trains, meaning sometimes there are interesting photographs taken whilst waiting for a particular locomotive to roll in to the station.
